Accommodations

We’ve planned our ceremony and reception so that it can be an easy day trip from Cleveland, but if you want to come up to Kelleys Island for the night or the weekend there are plenty of options.

A number of friends have already booked rooms at Kelleys Island Venture Resort. If you are booking a room at Venture Resort, be sure to mention “Celeste-Benedict Wedding” to get one of the rooms we are holding for our guests because all of their rooms are sold out. You can also reserve space at a bed & breakfast or rent a cottage or there are also campgrounds if you prefer an outdoor experience.

Since accommodations on the island are limited, we encourage you to book early!

Here’s a tip from Alan Glazen, Kelley’s Island neighbor and owner of the Erie Island Coffee (http://www.erieislandcoffee.com), he says: book Terry Kranyak’s Island House (now called Reunion House) He has 8 rooms, and I don’t think he’s started getting reservations yet.

As of today, there are TWO rooms left at Venture Resort under Celeste-Benedict wedding. Feel free to book one if you want to come and spend the night on the island. Do know, that they have lots of space (three queen-sized beds in each room) so you can split the cost with friends!
